The PSD300 came to me on a day that I needed it the most... I received the unit and as luck would have it, I was in one of those "writing moods." One thing I know from being around this business all these years is that if you have a great idea for a song or melody or chord progression, you had better CATCH IT! Don't wait!

That's where this little unit comes in. It's easy to operate and has so many options available to assist in the creative process. It's got a good quality built-in mic, and an internal speaker, so you can use it just like a tape recorder, only the results are better.  There are some very practical things this unit does too, like changing tempo. You can also change key without changing tempo, which is very helpful to get your idea right into the correct vocal range.; The ability to crank out a CD of my rough drafts for safe-keeping is great too!
